We are very excited to start our latest job. We are undertaking a frame off restoration and update of our clients NAS 110. The 97 soft top had lived in the North of the country for most of its life and suffered from a lot of surface corrosion, although mechanically the 90 had been well maintained. The decision was made to sand blast the Frame and assess the condition. We ended up having to replace the rear cross member along with brake lines and numerous other parts! We were contacted by Nicholas Barker and his colleague Emma at Datascope about having a Rover to be displayed at there annual sales conference in Fort Lauderdale. Always eager to help out and have a little publicity, we accepted. They provide all sorts of medical gear for surgeons like balloons, catheters, cardiovascular pumps, etc. All the fun stuff you never want to utilize, but glad to have if needed. I can't believe how many people have asked me or have come up to me on the street and go on about their experience with D-90s. They all have that "Moonie" look in their eyes as the approach the vehicle. Eyes darting from you to the truck, to you and then locked in a stare, a fixed to the interior as if they have seen a manifestation of Christ in the headliner.
